Revelation is a direct contact trade espresso created from coffee grown in the main producing regions; Indonesia, East Africa and Latin America. Revelation is our heritage and defines Union. It's our most admired blend and we built our reputation on this coffee.
It has complex floral aromatics, ripe red fruit notes of cherry and a dark caramel treacle-like body to leave a sweet enduring finish.
Revelation is created from prized Arabica, mostly fully-washed coffees built around the 3 major producing regions:
Cobahue & San Jeronimo from Latin America that gives the delicate honeyed syrup flavours.
Gashonga Rwanda provides the floral aromatics and enough snap to give a gentle sparkle to the cup.
Gajah Mountain from Aceh imparts the semi washed coffee that gives sweet lustrous mouth feel and weight to balance against the Latina and African coffees.

We select these coffees to provide clarity matched with intense, complex flavour and sweetness. We continually taste this blend and each of its components as espresso and on the cupping table and to maintain its consistent flavour profile we may use up to five different coffees at any given time.
