We call Yemen a "wild" or natural cup. Its one of the most distinct and prized coffees in the world....Earthy, complex, pungent ---to some it may be strange! Big character of blueberry jam, bitterchocolate and dried cranberry & cherries.

This coffee is brought from the fertile terraces of Western Yemen Mountains that reach elevations over 2000 metres. The traditional method of cultivating the terraces has not changed for 300 years. The soil is prepared by hand, and no chemicals are available to the farmers so the coffee is naturally grown, but not certified as organic.
In this region about five coffee tree varietals are grown, identified by visual inspection. Therefore, Harazz coffee is a composite of diverse varietal types all growing in this area contributing to the complex, unique and unusual cup. Huge blueberry jam, floral jasmine, dried raisin & dark chocolate. We call Yemen a "wild" or natural cup.
