Notes of green apple, lime, vanilla and finishes with a creamy body. The Calderón family grow Caturra varietal trees about 1700 meters above sea level on a one-hectare farm near La Piedra de Rivas. At this elevation, oxygen is limited and temperatures are cooler which slows the maturation of the cherries enhancing the soft but complex acidity and sweetness. Their coffee is prepared at Los Crestones micro-mill and is shipped in small vacuum packed bags which maintains the quality of the green coffee.
