Introduces with a delicate sparkle on the palate, medium bodied coffee with sweet cane sugar notes and a tantalizing almond aftertaste. The sweet finish makes it a perfect coffee to enjoy with morning pastries.

Fazenda Ida is located in the municipalities of Aguas da Prata and Minas Gerais-Andradas high in the mountains of Mantiqueira.  The region is a rich habitat for diverse flora and fauna.
With an approximate area of 140 acres the farm has many springs and streams in its watershed, considered vital for supply dams in the region (Bortolani, Pocos de Caldas, and Caconde).

The property was acquired in 2004 and since then has been undergoing significant changes. Gradually the vegetation on the top of hill slopes and along streams and springs are being restored, recovering from soil erosion caused by the mechanization practiced by the former owners.

The farm has the philosophy of working to preserve, conserve and restore natural resources that are essential practices in agriculture. Therefore all projects aim to achieve a state of economic viability, socially just and environmentally sound.

Currently, the sector of Environmental Conservation executes projects with the aim of restructuring regions towards recovery of and achieving a status of Permanent Protection Areas (PPA) and Legal Reserve (RL).

An active agroforestry activity is demonstrated by planting native seedlings in the vicinity of the springs and in arable areas with depleted soils. The native plants are obtained through partnerships with donors and grown in a nursery on the property itself.

The farm has worked had to achieve production of high level quality coffee through technical monitoring, especially in the specific maturation point of the coffee cherry and during drying at post harvest processing.
