At Union Hand-Roasted, 'no caffeine' never means 'no flavour'.
Far from it. We care as much for our decaffeinated customers as we do for those who enjoy the natural lift our coffee creates. So we go to great lengths to ensure you and your customers get to experience all the delicious flavour notes, full body and smooth characters in our Decaf blends, as you would with any of our regular coffees.
To achieve this, we source the coffees we feel are best suited to decaffeination. Then we send these coffees to a specialist which uses the method we feel best removes the caffeine, which in both our Organic and regular Decaf is the Natural CO2 Process.

Our decaffeinated coffee doesn't compromise on flavour or character. Gutsy and bold, there's real depth of body here with low notes of herbal chocolate and fragrant spice tones.

This blend uses only the finest grade Arabica coffees which are decaffeinated using sub cooled liquid carbon dioxide - the natural process. A rich espresso is guaranteed. No caffeine at Union Hand-Roasted does not mean no flavour.

Organic Decaf
As with our regular decaffeinated coffee, we seek to retain as much body and depth in the coffee as possible, so that after decaffeination, there is still plenty to enjoy. This South American selection of fine Arabica beans is gently treated by a specialist with sub-cooled liquid Carbon Dioxide to remove the caffeine (termed the natural process), which is an approved Certified Organic method.
The coffee is rich, full bodied and has a delicate spicy-red wine tone capable of offering a great filter, cafetière or espresso brew. Certified Fairtrade and Organic.
